Meet Dr. Randy Blair!
Piper, our middle daughter, is a firecracker. She loves sports, playing the piano, and recently conquered the Cliffhanger at Roaring Springs. This girl is afraid of nothing! Micah, our youngest, will always be known as the baby. She almost always gets her way, gets in our bed nightly, and rarely has to complete her chores. We clearly have much to work on with her. As a family, we enjoy bike riding, taking our mini-labradoodle Charlie on walks, watching movies and just spending time together.
I started my dental training at Brigham Young University, where I completed an undergraduate degree in Nutritional Science. From there, I attended University of Nevada Las Vegas for dental school. I knew I wanted to focus all my dental attention on kids’ oral health, and so I completed an additional 2 years of specialized pediatric training at the University of Tennessee. In addition to practicing at the University of Tennessee’s pediatric dental clinic, I also served other various pediatric facilities, including Crittenden Regional Hospital, Lebonheur Children’s Hospital, and the highly revered St. Jude’s Research Hospital. Accordingly, I have extensive knowledge and experience working with children, including infants, children of special needs, medically compromised individuals, as well as those with severe anxieties. Because I have had a wide variety of training and experience, my scope of practice includes the ability to deliver full mouth dental rehabilitation under general anesthesia, and to deliver safe and effective in-office administration of oral conscious sedation. But I do feel as though kids are at ease around me and in turn, kids feel at ease in the dental chair. Because of this, I can often turn an anxious child into a relaxed one without the use of sedatives. I even won the honor of Best Behavior Management, as voted on by my residency faculty and peers!
I can’t wait to meet you and your kiddos!
-Randy P. Blair, DMD
Hi, my name is Kristy! I have been a dental assistant in the field of pediatric dentistry since 1999. I love working with kids because that means I get to be a big kid myself! I think that has kept me young at heart.
I have two wonderful kids of my own, Emery (10) and Weston (8) that keep me busy on the days I'm out of the office. When I'm not working, I enjoy playing sports, watching sports (GO BOISE!) being outdoors, and hanging out with my family and friends. I look forward to helping you and your families.
Hello there! I’m Dr. Blair and I’m so happy to introduce myself to you. I’m a father to four and husband to one. My wife and I met in high school, but didn’t date until college, probably because I had some “maturing” to do. I spent two years living in Argentina, and so I am fluent in Spanish, love empanadas, and know how to survive without running water! While in Argentina, I had a pet pig named Norman who refused to eat scraps, which lead me to improve my culinary skills! Because of this, I enjoy trying new recipes or creating my own. My wife Marne’ and I have been married almost 20 years and are the proud parents of 1 son and 3 daughters. Our son Tucker is an excellent guitarist and enjoys spending time with his friends (like all teenagers!). Our oldest daughter, Parley is a complete bookworm. She even hides on top of the garbage cans in the corner of our yard to find hours of peace and quiet to read.
I married my husband, Matthew 21 years ago and we had 4 wonderful children. Our oldest daughter, Ashley recently married, and her and her husband, Montana, are attending Idaho State University. We also have a 16 year old daughter, Kelsey who attends Rocky Mountain High School, and fraternal twin boys, Andrew and Dayton who are almost 11 years old. Kelsey keeps us busy with shopping, dating, and activities. Andrew and Dayton keep us busy with Scouts, sports, rip-sticking, biking, camping, fishing, and swimming. We enjoy traveling as a family to spend time with all of our Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Grandparents. We love to play games with our entire family and laugh at the competitive nature of each family member. (We could be on must see television.) When I'm not with my family I enjoy reading, cake decorating, and learning new things.
I have been working as a dental assistant for 20 years, 15 of those in Pediatric Dentistry. I absolutely love kids! Maybe it's because I'm still a kid at heart, but I wouldn't want it any other way. Come to the office and you'll see what I mean. I love to be silly and have water gun fights with Dr. Blair, and I need more people on my team. I can't wait to meet your child/children, and make them feel special at Dr. Blair's office just like my Grandfather made me feel when he called me, Mindy Moo Moo.
My given name is Melinda but I prefer to go by Mindy. Growing up I adored my Grandfather and he always called me, Mindy Moo Moo. I don't know anyone who would like to be called a "cow" for a nickname, but the way he said it made me feel special every time. Feeling special is important to a child, and growing up with seven brothers and sisters who were all very competitive could be a challenge at times.
I was lucky enough to be blessed with my amazing husband who takes such great care of me and our kids. I was able to be a stay at home mom after Evan was born and decided to go back to school to complete my aspirations of becoming a dental assistant. I graduated from the College of Western Idaho with my Dental Assisting National Board certificates and also my Associate of Applied Science.
If I am not at the office you will most likely find me with my kids and one of my sisters, as all of my four older sisters, their families and my parents all still reside in the Treasure Valley area. If you can't tell I'm a total family girl! I also LOVE to travel and see new places. I have been lucky enough to travel quite a bit of the United States as a child with my parents. I also have been to France, Italy and Hawaii. In my free time I enjoy being in my garden, camping (only if it is warm), 4-wheeling, picking huckleberries in the mountains, taking our boat to Lucky Peak, going to Roaring Springs, playing baseball with my family and sipping lattes.
I am so looking forward to meeting you and your kiddos!
Hi my name is Caitlyn! I am a homegrown Idaho girl. I was born and raised in Nampa, Idaho and graduated from Kuna High School. After graduating high school I decided to take some time off before going to college. During that time my husband, Bandon and I were married had our beautiful daughter Emma and patiently waited 5 more years for our little man Evan to join our family. My Emma is such a quiet and sweet girl but can switch into a silly, giggly, crazy kid without warning. She loves to play almost anything as long as she is with a friend. Evan is a fun, loving boy who is always ready to play swords or superhero action figures. I am never at risk for a dull moment with him and his imagination.
Hi my name is Becca. My passion is working with children, I have enjoyed working in pediatric dental offices off and on for 15 years. I took a break from working when my twins were born and stayed home until my youngest was in school. I have three children Emily and Dylan are 12, and Dawson is 9. We are a very active family who enjoys the outdoors. Our favorite activities are mountain biking in the summer and snowboarding in the winter, we also love to travel and take road trips any chance we get! I look forward to working with your children and learning what they like to do for fun!
Hi, my name is Marci! I am from a small town called Glenns Ferry. My husband Jaime and I have been married for 7 years. We have a beautiful daughter who is 14 months old. My daughter Benelli is so sweet and loving but is also full of ATTITUDE! She tends to play rough with everything and everyone! I have been working as a dental assistant since 2016. Pediatric dentistry has been an awesome experience because of the kids… they are the BEST!
I am excited to meet you and your kiddos!
